The SDA-Seattle's Chapter Meetings begins with a half-hour of networking at 5:30 p.m., then dinner/business meeting at 6:00 followed by programs of interest to members. Meetings are held at Rock Salt on Lake Union, 1232 Westlake Ave N, Seattle.

The purpose of SDA is to organize and unite the membership by promoting education and professional standards of design firm administrative personnel.
SDA offers a myriad of benefits to its member, including educational seminars, workshops, brown-bags, and monthly programs, a certification program, and the opportunity to attend regional and national conventions.
